What you'll learn

By completing this course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of mental health and well-being. You will learn about the development of mental health and the key legislation that underpins mental health practice. The course will help you identify the causes and symptoms of stress and define problematic anxiety in yourself and others, using the ‘thoughts, feelings and behaviours’ model to better understand these experiences. You will also learn to recognise the symptoms of depression and bipolar disorder, and explore the difficulties associated with how thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact.
